Once upon a time I wrote a story that began 'Once upon a time'.
This is not that story.
But it is a story none the less.
And it begins like all good stories at the beginning. And this story really begins, as it probably should, with music.
More specifically it begins on Monday 28th June, 2004, the day I returned from my sixth Glastonbury festival. That was the day Kahel stopped by to ask how it was. It was, in my memory, the first time we had interacted outside of the social group in which we both reside. We weren't to talk again in that way for many months later, Kahel was back in the States soon after working on Flame of Passion.
But that was how it all began.
